I've decided to

Right so my goal is to hopefully over the rugby world cup work one or two nights a week.

I worked in hospitality pre DD and love it, I love seeing people working on the bar, greeting people, the social life etc and I can't imagine a more fun time to do it then over the world cup.

Problem I am overweight. I know what the industry is like, DP knows what the industry is like I need to drop weight and successfully and hopefully stay at a good weight. At the moment my goal is to get to an easy 14clothes wise. I have been that before so want to get there again. Now its time to make myself accountable and actually DO something about it instead of wanting someone to do something for me!

Question is do I put my weight on here and let everyone see or do I keep it to myself? Do I take measurements? For now I think I will keep it quiet! But who knows I might start feeling better about myself.

So what I can tell you is that the last time I weighed myself I was 9kg heavier then I am now. Don't ask me how long ago that was haha...

I'm home alone

Well not really how often as a mum are you actually home alone? DD is here so is dad and bro2 although none of us are communicating in anyway what so ever with eachother.

DP has gone out with SILs brothers as its their last week of holidays before they go back to school they were meant to be going to the armory to play but we realised last night that they had to be 18 or have parental consent and that was going to be too hard as their guardians aren't always around and the other their grandma they don't like to ask to do things like that. So instead they have gone to the movies and going to go across the road to go gaming DPs going to let me know when they get there then DD and I will go down.

We're going to Australia well Brisbane and Gold Coast to be exact in March and I'm looking at tickets, we miss out on the tickets I found last week that were only $840 return for the three of us. I've found some that are $827 return with a different airline and it has a better return time as its at 6.50pm meaning we get back to Auck at midnight so going to plan DD will just sleep! Thats the plan anyway. So going to talk to DP again today when I see him and confirm thats the day/time then book them. I don't want to miss out, oh and I have to call the airline about car seats etc they changed their rules a little while ago which is frustrating.

Ok off to call the airline me thinks!

It never does stop when your a mum on the fly

Summer Holidays

Right now its the summer holidays, we like summer, except for the fact that it is hot and sticky and muggy and its been raining so we can't open the windows or doors. At least in our room we can sleep with the fan on, which we have been.

So I know its been awhile but I've been busy DD is taking up lots of time but I love her and wouldn't have it anyother way.

DP got a promotion this week, he got offered the Venue Manager 2IC with the money! So basically the title for what he was already doing. We're happy, he's talked to them and is going to cut down his hours as well as we don't see eachother much DD doesn't see him much either and she misses him she seriously follows him round like a bad smell when he's home. She screams if you take him away from her its not fair :( so he is doing less hours as well as earning more money so we will be about the same off as we are now.

Speaking of work, if you don't know the Rugby World Cup is being held here in New Zealand this September. DP works in the CBD of Auckland so he is going to be VERY busy. He is going to ask work to pay for a hotel room as driving the half hour or so to and from work each day plus getting up about an hour earlier because we live so far away is going to be too much when he's at work for so long each day. I understand. Maybe one day I can leave DD at home and we can have a night in the room on our own? Haha wishful thinking.

It's bro#2 birthday tomorrow he's turning 25 old fart haha... yes I do know I'm 2yrs older then him. We got him a camping kit, basically put together a kit for him to go camping with ...(really you say didn't get that) so we got him plates and bowls, cutlery, frying pan, choppingboard, and quite abit more bits and bobs to put in a plastic container for him to take away wit him then when he gets home it can be washed and put away in the same container and stored. See he goes away a couple times a year and when he does he always raids the house of things like cups and frying pans we walk round the house for the next week asking where the fish slice is, or the tomato sauce, salt you get my drift. I came up with the idea and damn I think its pretty good. He goes away next Wed/Thurs too so will already get use out of it.

Ok I better go I hear a crying child for the third time tonight which is odd since she normallysleeps through yet all she wants is to have a cuddle and reassurance from mummy which I am all too happy to ablige with.

Thats all for now from this mum on the fly
